One Thread Road is a new, peer to peer platform for wardrobe lending and renting within local communities. Based in Lake Macquarie, the mission is to reduce fashion waste by circulating clothing we already own.
Users can lend items straight from their own wardrobe, that they don't wish to sell, but don't wear often. The more times an item is worn, the less impact it has on the environment.
The platform offers local pick-up only, to keep carbon emissions to a minimum and provide a truly sustainable alternative to getting dressed.
